Thanks for visiting... We're glad you're here, but as with anything where the public is invited, we've got to have some rules to keep things from going crazy. These should seem pretty common sense, and it's unfortunate that we need to write them down but that's how it is.

This is an open wiki site. Everyone is invited to contribute information about the web based game TornCity.

Please keep entries and edits on topic.

This is essential to keep the site functioning. We are not accepting articles on users, factions, or how great your last war was. This is for posting articles and information that will help others be better players, and in theory make the game more enjoyable for everyone.
Off topic posts will be removed.

Don't be offensive or insulting.

There are real people at the other end of what you write here. If you need to vent, go do it on a message board somewhere. This isn't the place to have flame wars. Again, the site is for information about playing the game.
Offensive material will be removed.

Please don't mess with articles just for the sake of messing with them.

The system tracks changes, so it does nothing but wastes your time and ours. If you have something to contribute, please do. If not, head back and play the game.

No advertising, promoting other sites, products, people, factions, or anything else.

Links not relating directly to TornCity will be removed.

Don't do anything that will cause us to have to write more of these rules. We hate them.

  • While there are some ads, this site doesn't make anywhere near what it costs to maintain. We're not asking for donations, we're not charging people, but it's the work of the system admins, and the people posting that keeps this going. If you find it helpful, please use it, and considering contributing to the wiki.

Don't use your TornCity Password on TornCityWiki

The wiki system encrypts your password, so we don't have access to it, but DON'T use the same password here that you use on TornCity. It's just not smart, and it keeps us safe from anyone accusing us from hacking accounts. Use your cat's name, your mother's birthday, the first 5 digits of your phone number, or your friends phone number. Whatever... just make it different than what you use on TC or anywhere else.
